AccounTax LLC was initially founded in 1986 by Frank F. Marcucio, III as Small Business and Computer Services, Inc. (SBCS) We were established as a consulting firm specializing in automating accounting systems across the Lower Naugatuck Valley region of Southern Connecticut. Initially, SBCS automated and streamlined manual accounting and bookkeeping processes for both for-profit and non-profit sectors of small businesses. In 1997, Frank III reformed and rebranded SBCS, Inc to AccounTax LLC expanding its market into the tax preparation and bookkeeping services industry.

Meet Our Accountants

Frank F. Marcucio, III is our founder and a second-generation accountant who received his BSBA degree in Accounting from UCONN in 1986. Frank also holds a MS degree and 6th year program degree in Education from the University of Bridgeport. He has also served as an adjunct faculty and a professor at the University of Bridgeport, Sacred Heart University and the University of Connecticut.

Frank F. Marcucio, IV is an AccounTax LLC member and third generation accountant who received his AS degree in accounting from Naugatuck Valley Community College in 2021. He is currently working on his BS degree in Finance from Post University.

Together, these two entrepreneurs have formed a team that meets and addresses the accounting, bookkeeping, payroll, tax and other financial needs for all of our clients. With today's technologies and with clientele in CT and across the US, (CA, FL, SC, MI, NC, NY), this father and son team cares for all of our clients needs either in person or remotely.
